A majority of Americans, 58 percent, would support military intervention in North Korea if the U.S. is unable to achieve its goals diplomatically or through economic sanctions according to a new Gallup poll. In 2003, the last time Gallup asked this question, only 47 percent approved OF military action. However there's a strong partisan divide as the vast majority of Republicans, 82 percent, would support military intervention, compared with only 37 percent of Democrats. Still most Americans, 59 percent, do not think an attack from North Korea is imminent.
