Spring Book Sale

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Friends of the Carrick Library will hold a book sale at the library at 1811 Brownsville Road from 10 AM-4:30 PM. Adult, Teen & Children's materials will be priced to sell. Proceeds benefit the library. Call 412-882-3897.

Academic programs fail if recent graduates' debt payment exceeds 12 percent of their total earnings. Critics call the measures unfair and discriminatory as they are not applied to traditional colleges and universities but signal out vocational schools concentrated in fields traditionally offering lower incomes at the beginning of the career cycle.
