Colin Kaepernick has filed a grievance against the NFL, claiming that team owners colluded to not hire him as punishment for starting a wave of football players kneeling during the National Anthem in solidarity with those suffering racial injustices. The former quarterback has been a free agent since opting out of his contract in March. Kaepernick's detractors say it's not a case of discrimination as 70% of NFL players are black, but that teams believe they have found somebody else who can do the job better.
