Despite White House warnings about national security, Congress on Wednesday for the first time decided to override the President's veto of a bill that allows 9/11 families to sue the Saudi Arabian government for damages. President Obama called the override an understandable political mistake given the perceived danger of voting against 9/11 families right before an election, but will also endanger US soldiers and diplomats protected by immunity laws while serving in other countries.
