After last weekend recapture of the Iraqi city of Fallujah, Secretary of State John Kerry suggested that the subsequent terror attack at Istanbul's Airport was a desperate act by ISIS saying "you can bomb an airport…and if your losing and want to give up your life, then obviously you can do some harm." Republican Congressman Mike McCaul slammed Kerry's assessment stating "ISIS has ramped up external operations at an unprecedented pace, and to say they're on the run absolutely defies reality".
