New Year’s Eve Family Celebration
Kids may not always be able to stay up late to see it arrive but they still love to welcome the New Year! Ring in 2013 with the whole family at Phipps and participate in an early countdown at 8:45 p.m. - all before youngsters head off to bed.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin criticized the use of subsidies to keep Carrier Corporation from sending jobs to Mexico, as President-elect Donald Trump help brokered the deal heralding it as a great American victory. Carrier was given $7 million in financial incentives over the next decade to keep thousand jobs at an Indianapolis plant. Palin calling it "crony capitalism" when government arbitrarily provides subsidies favoring one business over another, she prefers competition on a level playing field for both jobs and consumers.
