Black Friday Survival
Black Friday is coming....And only the strong survive! Stop by Town Center at The Waterfront for a Black Friday Survival Celebration to fuel up on complimentary snacks and coffee as you shop for the best deals of the season. Volunteers from the Western PA Humane Society will also be on site to help you wrap all of those new purchases from 8-11am. You scored some amazing Black Friday rewards, so why not reward yourself for being an awesome shopper? 'Tis the season! The first 100 Waterfront shoppers to join the Black Friday Survival Celebration will receive special Survival Kits, complete with the all of essentials for surviving Black Friday. Some lucky guests will receive surprise Survival gift cards in their bags to shops and restaurants at The Waterfront ranging from $5-$50!
The Obama administration is proposing a $10 per barrel tax on oil companies for the purpose of funding hundreds of billions of dollars worth of alternative transportation efforts, all part of the presidents ambitious climate agenda. The tax proposal, which would be phased in over five years, is described by the administration as a fee. GOP leaders are likely to oppose any new tax on energy companies.
