Takacs Quartet with Marc-Andre Hamelin
In May, 2012, Gramophone Magazine announced that the Takács Quartet was the only string quartet to be inducted into its first Hall of Fame. Combined with the talent and genius of Marc-Andre Hamelin, who recently received a lifetime achievement prize by the German Record Critic’s Award, this is a concert not to be missed.
According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News Poll 52 percent of Americans disapprove of the president's handling of the situation between Israel and the Palestinians' compared with 39 percent who approve. Half of Americans disapprove of President Obama's handling of international affairs in general, compared with 46 percent who approve.
