Takacs Quartet with Marc-Andre Hamelin
In May, 2012, Gramophone Magazine announced that the Takács Quartet was the only string quartet to be inducted into its first Hall of Fame. Combined with the talent and genius of Marc-Andre Hamelin, who recently received a lifetime achievement prize by the German Record Critic’s Award, this is a concert not to be missed.

New England Patriots Owner Robert Kraft has decided NOT to appeal the teams punishment for using deflated footballs in last seasons NFL playoffs. The league hit the team with a One Million dollar fine and the loss of two draft picks. Kraft said the agenda of one team should not outweigh the collective good of all other teams. His decision, however, does not affect the appeal by Quarterback Tom Brady of his four game suspension for his role in the scandal. That appeal continues.
