American Diabetes Association EXPO/Pittsburgh
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The American Diabetes Association EXPO will take place on Saturday November 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The event will be hosted by the American Diabetes Association whose mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by the disease. Attendees will have the chance to view health screenings, cooking demonstrations, and product exhibitors. Additionally, numerous leading experts will speak about the methods of dealing with the harmful consequences of diabetes. Come and receive the latest information on preventing and managing diabetes to help keep you and your family healthy.

The New Kensington-Arnold School District agreed to a mediator's judgement and removed a 6-foot high Ten Commandments monument from outside Valley high school gymnasium, paying $164,000 in legal fees to settle a 2012 lawsuit filed by a girl and her atheist mother. Freedom from Religion Foundation applauded the decision saying it should have never gone to court. The girl was not a student but found the object offensive when attending recreational events or when dropping her sister off at school.
